What is a Nominee Director?

"Nominee Director" is the person/company appointed by the beneficial owner of the company to act as a company Director. A nominee director will normally be appointed for confidentiality reasons. His name will appear in all contracts between your company and other companies, employees, bank documents and Companies house registration documents. A nominee director will only be appointed following your request.

Upon appointment of "Nominee Director", a nominee service agreement, as well as, an indemnity form will be signed between the client and the nominee. These will guarantee to the client that the nominee will only act or sign documents upon the client's requests. It also guarantees to the nominee that he/she has no responsibility.
